Best hairstyles for girls with medium length hair

Best Hairstyles for girls is the reflection of personality among girls. No one likes having a bad hair day, and if you’re anything like me, the state of your hair is a major determiner of your mood and the rest of your day. (I have no idea what the science behind that is, but there has got to be some logical explanation to that.) For the most part, many of us struggle to come up with something other than just a plain old ponytail that we’ve been sporting since grade school. We’re always looking for something that is easy to make, looks effortless but at the same time, is incredibly cute. For all you ladies struggling with the same problem, we’ve got you covered. Following is a list of 5 easy hairstyles that can total up to your hair game.

Dutch Braids:

One can never go wrong with a nicely done Dutch braid. Again, this is one of those hairstyles that do require some effort, but the outcome is beautiful. Thanks to the Kardashians for reviving this hairstyle, a Dutch braid, which is basically a French braid done inside out, is perfect for almost any casual occasion. Twist it up and around your head, you have a modified milkmaid braid, couple it with soft curls, you’re ready for any formal event, like a wedding or a farewell party. Keep it neat and tight, you’re ready to go to the gym. The possibilities are endless!

Half up Bun:

The idea is simple and easy to execute. Divide your hair into two horizontal halves and twist the top half into a loose bun. Follow the steps from point (2) mentioned above to get that perfect half-bun. You can also use some hairspray to keep the hair intact. Half up buns are the new go-to hairstyle because of their versatility and simplicity. Be it a music festival, a wedding, house party, family get together or even a visit to the library or the local coffee shop, with a little modification here and there, a half-up bun can be the perfect hairstyle.

Messy Braided Ponytail:

Okay, sure we might have called a ponytail ‘plain and boring’ but there’s just no way one can live without it. But that does not mean we cannot spice it up a little. As the name suggests, this hairstyle is all about propagating the “I woke up like this, flawless” message. Make a low, relatively loose ponytail and pull out wisps of hair. But make sure you do that strategically, you want to look effortlessly beautiful, not a train wreck.

Waterfall braids:

Ah yes, this one is our personal favourite. A waterfall braid, coupled with loose curls can make anyone look and feel like a real-life princess. It is also perfect for balayage colour or highlights. It does require some skilful braiding technique, but it’s nothing a little practice can’t achieve and consider the end result, it is totally worth the effort.

Messy Bun:

Building upon the effortless yet gorgeous hairstyle idea, if low ponytails are too much of an annoyance for your neck, tries a messy bun instead. Pull your hair up in a high pony and secure it with a hair tie. Then loop your hair around and keep it in place using bobby pins. Make sure the looped hair, which makes the bun, is loose, and repeat the process of strategically pulling wisps of hair from it.
